Banner - the font and color of the banner were the same as the bridal shower invitations. Dowels were from Michaels with ribbon tied on. We were going to spray paint gold to match their shoes but we ran out of time. Banner was printed by a friend on vinyl (email naomi at americanvinylinc.com for more details).
Hair Garlands - I made the garlands out of brown "grapevine" wire ($2.99) I found at Hobby Lobby. I wrapped it with fresh ivy and hot glued on fresh mum tops (purchased the day before at Trader Joe's for $3.99). I didn't think they'd last more than 24 hours, but they did! I tied them on with aqua blue ribbon which doesn't show in this photo.
Dresses - Kathryne found these adorable little taffeta dresses at a store going out of business for $11 a piece. Holland's is quite short, but it still worked. If we'd had time we might have been able to add an inch to the hem.
Shoes - Gold mary-janes from Payless Shoes for $12.99 each. We picked up one pair in Albuquerque and one in Pasadena. You can always order online if you know the child's size.
Aisle Paper Runner - we hummed and hawed about what to put down the aisle. I was going to purchase as white aisle runner at Walmart for $20, but then forgot and the one left at Hobby Lobby looked like it had been returned a number of times. We got the brilliant idea to use the left over brown paper (used to cover the carpets so it wouldn't be ruined by all the guests coming in and out), sort of like brown butcher paper on a roll. It was taped down beautifully and I think it looked great and blended nicely with the brick.
