Smoke Inhalation

The fires are not far from where we live.
We are not in the foothills, but we can see the flames.
We can't really go outside because of the smoke and the heat.
I have a friend who has decided to evacuate from their house on the hill.
It was scary last night to drive around the curve of the freeway and see the whole
hillside alight and glowing red in the dark.
I'm praying for everyone involved and that the weather improves.
