When I was a kid I had a huge crush on Elvis. I even thought I could sing with him when I grew up. Well...he died before we could find out that I couldn't sing.
I'm enjoying watching a special on Elvis as I type this. The 70s were a riot and terrible clothes and hair! People did seem a bit more civilized though.
So anyway, just wanted to remember dear Elvis...he was a sweet, charismatic fool wasn't he? And what a voice, and what eyes!

He looked very...vulnerable in his younger years, when he did all those movies. Even as a kid, I thought, "This guy's got his heart pinned onto his sleeve."
