My dad was in town for a few days so we took the opportunity and the beautiful weather as a sign to get outside and do something! We decided to drive to Tablerock Lake and visit the dam. We got to visit the new information center, go to the third floor for a great panoramic view and watch a 20 minute video about the building of the dam. I highly suggest this little day trip!
We then walked down to the water and had our snack. The girls got a thrill watching the speedboats zoom by and learned to skip and throw rocks. It was so beautiful to sit by the water again!
We also stopped by Moonshine Beach, but it doesn't open until June 15th (waaaaaay late!)
I think it would be super fun to take the girls on the paddle boat for dinner over the summer, don't you?
