Music is an important part of a child's life and education and in our house my two girls are always moving and grooving to their own beat! While my oldest has taken piano lessons for almost a year (we just quit recently for financial reasons) and she was brilliant at it, but didn't want to practice at all...my youngest doesn't have the patience to sit for half an hour in a lesson.

Enter KinderBach! Affordable and fast, your children have an opportunity to learn music theory as well as keyboarding skills!

KinderBach is an online piano curriculum designed for 3 to 7 years old.  Learning is gradual and child-paced as the program is divided into several levels, and weeks with sessions in each. The sessions average about 5 minutes per.  Karri Gregor,  the creator of KinderBach is the instructor on the videos and she uses cute characters to go through different musical adventures in every session. KinderBach has tons of catchy songs, colorful video lessons and games to keep the young ones entertained.

KinderBach is a complete package, as the online membership can be used by everyone in the family. No musical background necessary for us parents! All you need for this online program is a good (fast?) internet connection and a keyboard (any kind real or paper/cardboard).

The program was designed to give your child an over-all music foundation as it not only teaches piano, but other factors of music too including music theory, note identification and reading, rhythm, ear training, hand position and much more! To check out their detailed syllabus by level go to their website.

My two girls really enjoyed the short bursts of focused music time in our home classroom...the printables were great (they love those) and I enjoyed having a parent guide to help understand the program.

Overall, I think anyone interested in music would enjoy this program! Don't forget to check out the free lessons to see if you'll love it. Maybe I'll even learn to play a few ditties!

Cost:

You can also purchase the KinderBach App for Iphone or Ipad for $26.99.
