It's been a while since the Mad Tea Party...thanks for showing up btw.
We've been keeping busy...
We've been keeping busy...
It's hard to believe that my kids like to slip & slide - at 8 o'clock in the morning!
My 21 month old doesn't like wearing clothes anymore...I can tell you some stories...
(Today she was supposed to be napping, instead she was pooping, taking her diaper off in her crib, throwing said poopy diaper, and then bouncing around in her own excrement.
All bedding is being sanitized as we speak. It was gross okay?)

It's pretty hot at 8 in the a.m. at our place...the sun is shining really strongly on the front of the house. Another reason I decided to hang curtains across the porch.
White curtains from Ikea (got used $5 a panel), hung with tension rods.
Here's a cute one of Darcy early in the morning!
Wish I looked that cute in the wee hours.
I painted a little garden sign (keeping busy you know).
Wanna see what's been growing there? BIG squash!
I have had so many squash that I created a recipe for them,
which I will post soon.
And I picked up this sweet little metal tray with birdies on it.
Filled with shells for the summer! Cute!
And I had to post a picture of the amazing "garden" bag that saved my camera, cell phone,
and magazines when I was at Laguna last week. It is water proof inside (didn't know that),
and has many great pockets for sunscreen, lotion, sunglasses, phones, books, keys etc.
I picked it up for 9.99 at the hardware store in Laguna. A real bargain!
I have another project I've been working on in the mornings from about 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., when the girls are sleeping. Here's a preview:
The paint on the drawer is a little clue to the color...
notice how everything is white around it.
Also have finally added some items to Etsy, which you can
check out on my sidebar over there.
Have a beautiful day...can't believe the week is almost over!

I'm so glad this week is almost over--last weekend was so busy for me and I'm glad we are homebound for the 4th. Great pictures--those clouds are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just love big sky photos! Brilliant! and what darling children! - I have to admit- I was much like your little one when I was her age- dodging clothing at every chance (of course with out the poo part. lol- atleast non that had been recanted to me over the years!) Now, my son on the other hand- he used to make a game of peeing and such ON me when ever he had the chance. I concure... gross! but- they are worth it in the end, arent' they.
ReplyDeleteBest of weekends to you and yours!
