Let there be light!

My poor, dear, hardworking husband started a project for me...

He sliced the drywall with a packing knife and then we hammered it.
It was kind of exhilerating. Then he cut the chair rail.
Then went to the other side and cut out the paneling.

It was amazing how the light made such a difference!

This is where he stopped (after sweeping up).
He has to figure out the wiring and then cut the studs.
Next weekend we'll hopefully get the job finished.
